Mr. Sudheer Neelakandan, Associate Vice President – Shared Services, takes care of the Shared Services globally for the UAE Exchange Group. The objective is to facilitate transformation of operations to a full-fledged Shared Service Centres, to be hub of excellence to the Group. The SSC Operations are currently flourished into locations like Abu Dhabi, Cochin, Chennai, Mumbai and Manila. He started his career with UAE Exchange Financial Services handling the centralized management of Funding & Forex Business for India operations. He has then moved to Global Head Quarters of UAE Exchange, UAE in 2006 as Head of Central Operations to establish the concept of centralization to manage the back-office operations of Products & Services which has brought standardizations and effective control mechanisms. This success of centralization and standardization has marked the thought of evolving to a larger scale of economy. During the evolution of Shared Services in UAE Exchange, he has been placed to spearhead high volume transitions and manage offshore teams in India and Philippines along with UAE. His tenure of 16+ years has gained him proficiency in driving strategies for implementing and transforming Shared Services (in the areas of people, process, locations and infrastructure) for Operational redesigns, Optimizations, Quality Management, Continuous improvement, Delivery effectiveness to make Shared Services as a Centre of Excellence to support client’s business Strategical needs globally. Also, he has managed Insurance, Forex, Risk & Controls and key enterprise level leading projects. By education, he is a CMA graduate and holding membership/certification of ICWAI, India and ICMA, USA with Post Graduation in Commerce and certified in Six Sigma Green. Mr. Sudheer focusses to align Shared Services to the Group’s vision, in building a state-of-the-art Shared Service Centre for the Group by industry benchmarked effective delivery solutions.
